Sorry, it has been awhile since I have updated. Sickness is running around in my household between my two boys. (Hubby is deployed so no breaks for me :( )
Anyways, the first week of school we learned "All About Me" They really enjoyed this unit. Then we talked about dinosaurs. We had 14 little dinos "roaring" around the class. Next, we went on to apples. We tasted them, examined them, and of course painted with them.
I will be taking more pictures soon and sill post them.
This month we are starting off with Jack-o-lanterns, going to the ocean, and rounding out the month with our Western Day.

Our 1st Day
The first day was very exciting. We made so many new friends!!!! We sang some new songs, learned how to say the pledge to the American Flag, and we also learned (practiced) praying. We played play dough, and free play, and best of all we played outside. By lunch everyone was so very tired. (one even feel asleep!!!) We also read about Curious George's First Day of School. They all have an unique and fun personalities. I can't wait to get to know them more. They are all so funny. We were practicing drawing smiling faces. I drew mine, and they told me I look like a monkey. Well, My drawn ears were kinda "monkey like"!!!!!! Enjoy the pictures, and I'll see ya'll Monday morning.
God Bless,

Sorry Parents I forgot to explain a paper in your folders. There is a sheet that has a boy/girl outline on it. That is for your child to make the person look like them. They can use glue and put clothes on the person. Also around the picture "interview" your child. Their favorite color, movie, food, who is in their family, etc. Please bring this back on Friday, September 11. Thank you very much Ms. Jaime
